Preparation #
Switch to the page that contains your form and open it in Elementor. Then select the form that you want to edit.
Step 1: Activate double opt-in #
To use the double opt-in, switch to the Actions after sending tab. There, select the options Collect Submissions, Forge12 Double-Opt-in and Email.
Step 2: Configure opt-in mail #
After activation, the “Forge12 Double-Opt-in” tab appears, where you can make the settings for the double opt-in.
To do this, enter the name of the form field containing the visitor’s e‑mail address in the corresponding field(To).
You can find the name by opening the corresponding field (e.g. email) in the Form fields tab and reading out the field name there.
Then enter the sender (From e‑mail), the name of the sender (From name) and the desired subject .
Then select the desired template and save the settings by clicking on the “Save” button.
Step 3: Configure standard mail #
As soon as the opt-in system is activated and configured, you should set up the standard emails. To do this, use the Elementor settings in the Email and Email 2 tab (optional) as usual. Activate these by switching to Action after sending and selecting the corresponding actions.
To send a standard mail after the double opt-in, enter the recipient (To), the sender (From e‑mail), the subject and the message text as usual. Then save the settings by clicking on “Save”.
